Since 2002, Jeremy has been collaborating on a forthcoming project with Crawford House Publishing, private collectors, and the South Australian Museum. It is expected the final result (due 2006) will feature some 450 high quality photographs of Tribal Jewellery and will be published internationally (with Jeremy as co-author). This project was shot using both film and digital capture.
This experience has allowed Jeremy to develop world class expertise in the documentary Photography of all sorts of jewellery, from traditional Western jewellery with highly reflective surfaces and polished stones, to tribal jewellery made from bone, teeth, leather etc.
Jeremy has developed a set of techniques and equipment that allow him to produce extremely high quality photography of jewellery, artifacts and artworks on location if necessary. He is experienced with all the procedures required for the delicate handling of valuable materials, and with the importance of letting the object speak through form, texture, and lighting, without over-bearing photographic flourishes.
Please contact us if you are in need of affordable, high quality photography of any type of artworks for any reason including books, advertising, or auction catalogue purposes (including online auctions).
Credit for these last photographs is shared with our friend and colleague, Claire Takacs. They feature the work of Ted Secombe, Master Potter, and are due to be published in Vogue's Indoor Living section.
Jeremy has begun an on-going project with internationally famous botanical artist Celia Rosser [opens in a new window]. This project is to reproduce a selection of her amazing development work that resulted in her major Banksia pieces. These are very high quality reproductions, produced on watercolour papers, offering a remarkable level of quality at an affordable price.
This experience has allowed Jeremy to develop strong skills in the photography of flat artworks for reproduction purposes. We have developed an affordable system involving a very reasonable initial fee for the Photography, followed by highly flexible and cost-effective on-demand ordering of the reproduction prints for sale. We have developed expertise in affordable colour management and can produce reproductions offering excellent colour fidelity to the original artworks.
If you are an artist (or represent one), and an affordable system for artwork reproduction appeals to you, please contact us. We can also assist you with using the Internet as a marketing tool for your artworks once photographed at high quality by Jeremy.
Jeremy produces commissioned and speculative work of industry and architecture. Large format photography allows for the correction of typical faults in architectural images, such as converging vertical lines. The images produced are of the highest quality both aesthetically and as representative images of the form of your architecture.
