Here at JDP we do our absolute best in all ways to make sure all the people who buy our prints are more than satisfied and receive the very best art in the very best condition. As a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers, Jeremy Daalder adheres strictly to a code of business ethics [opens in new window]. This code is one way you can be assured of integrity when dealing with Jeremy Daalder Photography.
Each image is offered only in a select number of sizes. The reasons for this are largely technical and occasionally aesthetic. Jeremy Daalder only allows work directly approved by him to leave JDP. He is a stickler for image quality, believing all artists must first totally master their craft to allow true expression. Otherwise, definicies in craft impair the expressive nature of the work. Hence he does not enlarge images from smaller film formats beyond the limits of the film format.
If you do want a print size that isn't listed, please contact us to arrange a special order.
Our normal Postage to anywhere in the world is included in the print price.
Couriers are expensive and we do not include their charges in our normal prices. We have found the International Airmail and Registered Post services to be very reliable and hence can not justify always using a courier. If you live outside Australia and wish to use a courier, this is easily arranged. Please go ahead and make your order. After completing the order, contact us to let us know you wish to use a courier, and we will arrange this. You will need to make a further payment to cover the actual courier costs, usually about $AU 50 (~ $US 40). We charge you the actual courier fees, we do not mark these up in any way. We'll let you know how much and how to pay this charge as soon as we have the print ready for shipping.
Prints are available for sale in both Australian and US Dollars. You can use the toggle on the top right of your screen to switch between Aus. and US Dollars at any time. If you would like to know how these prices will convert to your local currency, then this currency converter can help you: XE.com Personal Currency Assistant [opens in new window]. Just type in the Aus. dollar price and specify your currency to get a converted amount.
No work is allowed to leave JDP without the direct approval of Jeremy Daalder. As he is sometimes travelling around the country taking photographs, this may sometimes mean there is up to a fortnights delay before your image is prepared, printed and approved. If Jeremy is in Melbourne, this process will be much quicker. However craft can't be rushed and quality always comes first! If there are any delays we will contact you straight away to let you know.
Limited Edition Prints are normally sent using Australia Post International Airmail (Registered Post if within Australia). Typical transit times are 2-3 days in Australia, 3-7 days to Europe and the USA, and 7-14 days to most other locations. If you have chosen to use a courier (see 'Postage' above), your print will normally arrive anywhere in the world within 5 days.
Ultrachrome prints are printed in house and will generally be prepared within a week of your order (often the same day). The prints are posted using the Australia Post AirMail service (Registered Post if within Australia). Typically this means an image will arrive anywhere in Australia within 2-4 days, and Europe and the USA within about 7 to 10 days. Other countries can take a couple of weeks or up to a month at the very latest (but usually less!).
Please contact us immediately to discuss. However we pack our prints extremely well and to date this has not been an issue. Please be assured we'll get a perfect print to you!
Please read the supplied notes on Print Handling and Framing before you handle the print!
Currently we are using Paymate to process credit card transactions. (This is the Australian version of Paypal which you may have come across using eBay). They are totally secure, using 128 bit SSL encryption. Your credit card details are not stored anywhere by us (in fact we never even see them!). We simply receive a notification of payment from Paymate. Payment will be made in Australian dollars if you live here in Australia. If you live outside of Australia, you may choose to be billed in US or AUS dollars.
Paymate can accept transactions from: American Samoa, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Iceland, Israel, Italy , Japan, South Korea, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, NZ, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom , USA, and the Virgin Islands (U.S).
