We hope this page answers all your questions and concerns about privacy and information collected when you make a purchase here. If at any time you have any further questions, don't understand something, or are having trouble removing yourself from our mailing list, then please use the contact details to contact us and we promise we'll sort things out promptly.
When you subscribe to any of our email lists (e.g. the updates for the Latest Release Prints, but not the electronic greeting cards), we collect your email address and store it in our database. We do not pass this on to anyone at all, under any circumstance (no 'trusted third parties with special offers' etc.).
We consider that in signing up, you are expressing interest in Jeremy Daalder Photography and in addition to being notified about updates to the Latest Release Prints, you will probably also be interested in hearing about exhibitions, workshops and that sort of thing. That is, stuff directly connected to Jeremy Daalder Photography. If this is not the case, just let us know.
We store your email address, and that of your recipient, for the life time of the greeting card (31 days). After this time the record is automatically and permanently deleted. We do not add these email addresses to our mailing lists or indeed use them for anything other than the card itself.
When you make a purchase here, we obviously collect your contact and payment details.
Your payment details are processed and then destroyed, no records of credit card numbers are kept on file by us. When you transmit your credit card number, it is sent across the internet using 128 bit SSL encrytion to Paymate (see help with this site). This is very secure (much more secure than handing your credit card over to the average person-who-looks-vaguely-like-a-waiter!).
We store these on file and may use them to occasionally send you news about Jeremy Daalder Photography, for example announcements of upcoming exhibitions. If you do not wish for this to happen, please let us know.
Every email we ever send you comes with instructions for un-subscribing from our mailing list. It is a very simple process. You can also always contact us directly if you like.
